Responsibilities and Accountabilities

 

Management of the Centre

  • Acting as a bridge between the Head Office and the Centre/Project/Outlet, Sole Representative of Chal Foundation at the site and Responsible for all matters relating to clinics, finances, supplies and coordination of the Centre/Project/Outlet.

  • Supervise the activities of all (mainly technical) staff of the Centre/Project/Outlet.

  • Participate in preparing annual budgets, short/medium-term operational and strategic plan for the Centre/Project/Outlet.

 

Technical/ Service Delivery

  • Perform routine Consultation, Assessments, Reviews and Referrals of Patients visiting the Centre/Project/Outlet.

  • Take measurements and casting of patients for P&O devices and rectify positive models.

  • Supervise fabrication procedure of P&O devices, ensuring timeliness and quality of production.

  • Perform fitting and coordinate gait/functional training of patients fitted with P&O Devices.

  • Guide and train CPO, Physio and Technicians in their daily assignments.

 

Quality Control and Monitoring

  • Monitor and ensure that Customized Rehab Protocol is well-implemented in the Centre/Project/Outlet and Services are provided to the patients on the minimum international standards set by CF under WHO/ISPO guidelines.

  • Supervise overall procedures included in provision of P&O devices from assessment till check outs.

  • Check quality of devices during Sending for Finishing and Check Outs.

  • Ensure quality of production and satisfaction of patients/visitors.

  • Conduct Evaluation/ Appraisals for all direct reports and sub-ordinates on a quarterly basis

 

Safety, Security and Maintenance of Rehab Centre

  • Maintain a professional working environment ensuring that a positive unit team is established, within which each individual can aspire to be achieving their full potential.

  • Responsible for the achievement of Centre productivity and quality goals.

  • Ensure Supervised housekeeping of the Centre

  • Responsible for the security and safety of center premises, staff and assets.

  • Ensure maintenance of the Centre/Project/Outlet with all necessary equipment, tools, furniture and fixtures etc at all times.

  

Role Specific requirement

Manage and run Rehab Centre as per CF standards in Clinics, Administration and Coordination.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum qualification required:

  1. Masters in Prosthetics & Orthotics; OR

  2. Bachelors in Prosthetics & Orthotics; Courses in Management & Advanced Prosthetics/Orthotics; OR

 

Detailed Experience required:

Courses in Management & Advanced Prosthetics/Orthotics; 03 Years’ experience with 02 Years in Management, Masters in Marketing/ Finance/ Business Administration; Courses in Management/ Administration; 05 Years’ experience with 03 Years in Management
